bryanseva
Why is the pump designed to have its speed changed, this makes no sense. All pumps have limits, and are usually designed for optimum performance at a certain speed. The systems can only flow so much. Changing the airflow makes sense. peanutz94
The pump speed does not change. Just the speed of the fans.
Garage1217
^ exactly. Fan speeds change. Pump stays at 2162 on my machine.
bryanseva
Yeah well some folks were talking about pump speed changes, which doesn't make sense from a fluid flow perspective.
wlw_wl
The button only changes the fans speed, the pump has constant speed.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 7, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 7, 2012 Both H80 and H100 will only give out the pump speed if you are reading it from CPU_fan speed in BIOS. We expect the pump speed to be at constant 2000rpm.
