georgeedwards
Hello everyone. I have a H70 system, just over a year old (bought in October 2010) and just yesterday the pump has started making a loud noise. It's sort of like a clicking, as if a cable is stuck in a fan. I have made a short video demonstrating the noise here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lqgp8ckNk4 I understand I will probably need to RMA it, and in the meantime I have installed a cheapish Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro v2 and have actually noticed that it keeps my CPU at a lower temperature than the H70 did - at full load it doesn't even reach 70'c with air cooling, and that's running IntelBurnTest. For this reason I'm suspecting perhaps my H70 has been faulty for some time now, as it certainly didn't perform as well as this £15 air cooler! :/ If someone could advise me of the next stages, I would be very appreciative.
