madhurvyas
Hi, I'm using CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 kit (2x2gb) on my MSI H67MA-E35 (B3) with Pentium G620 processor, though this board is not in supported list for the ram kit, but its elder brother is H67MA-E45 (B3). Issue in my case is, the ram doesnt even runs at 1333 speed if I keep auto settings in bios it gives me only 1066 speed. If i try to manually set the speed to 1333 in bios pc wont boot and I have to clear the cmos. Motherboard supports xmp, even when its enabled ram speed is at 1066, even if i change the ram voltage to 1.65v nothing happens. any suggestions. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 31, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 31, 2012 Your CPU is not running at full speed it looks to be running in a power down state, look in the BIOS or if they have software installed to control power management make sure it is set to run the CPU at 100%. But the memory cannot run faster than the CPU FSB with most Intel Chipsets. However with this chipset and running the CPU at 400FSB the fastest memory Frequency will be DDR1066 or 533 MHz.
