dwl99 Posted January 25, 2012 Share Posted January 25, 2012 I hope this may help some of the people who are experiencing slow speeds - I just discovered than my XFX motherboard (nVidia chipset) supports AHCI only on SATA ports 5 & 6. Might be worthwhile to RTFM if you're having problems. Message from XFX support: "With regard to AHCI, this is taken from the mainboard manual: 6 x SATA ports with support for SATA RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 0+1,5，thereinto SATA5and6 only support AHCI or Raid mode, don`t support IDE mode" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
