CVKingsfan
My RMA replacment (CORSAIR XMS3 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model CMX16GX3M4A1333C9) has failed MemTest. Every stick of the replacment was tested in every slot and one stick repeatedly failed in every slot. I attempted to get a new RMA but kept getting an error message stating in essence I already had a pending RMA in the process. Additionally, somehow I believe I ended up with a new case number (#2847c244) assigned to my existing case? I am very disappointed over having to wait for another RMA reaplacment and not being able to use my pc during all this time. Is there a faster way to get the replacment? I am assuming Corsair will cover the return shipping costs on the defective RMA replacment? Please advise how to procede. Thank you!
CVKingsfan
No response is necessary - I just talked to Corsair customer service via the phone and they are sending out another replacment with a postage paid label for the defective RMA. CVKingsfan
Just wanted to post a follow-up to say the prepaid shipping label arrived via email the next day and the replacement RAM arrived the following day. All four sticks passed MemTest!!! My faith in Corsair has been restored!
