shadow763
When I try to run both of the sticks in my system at their specified speed, timings and voltage, I have stability issues. If I run it at the default settings as specified by the mobo, it comes up at a speed of 1333 and seems to be rather stable. If I run just one stick at the settings the RAM should be running at it is stable. It only seems to have issues when I run both 4 gig sticks. I am not sure if I should be adjusting voltage or what at this point to get it run stable. I am not good at the voltage and timings aspect of RAM. Thanks for the help. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 12, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 12, 2012 The CPU you have is rated at DDR1333 and if its stable at that you may have to over clock the CPU to get the speed higher for the memory.
shadow763
So just raising the voltage on the RAM from 1.5 to 1.6 is in advisable? Better to do it on the CPU side?

No, it's a little more involved than just changing voltages. You might want to look for overclocking guides for your CPU or MB to get frequencies higher than 1333mhz. . Google is your friend! Intel you can just set the XMP profile and that adjusts the neccessary parameters. AMD's do not have that feature and must be done manually.
