Driftall
This morning I received my GS600 to upgrade an aging power supply. I plugged it all in, and at first the fan spun for a second but then stopped. Now it won't start at all, so I was just wondering whether the thermal controlling includes it not spinning at all. I don't want to try and put load on it incase there is a fault that could cause more harm. Is it normal for the fan not to spin? Thanks in advance
HOODedAssault
Id try to put a load on it and see if it starts to spin up... I believe on some psu's they don't spin while cool... Especially at fresh boot.
Driftall
The system has now been on low load(Web/Email/Music/etc) for about an hour and the fan is still not spinning. What would be the consequence of putting a load on the power supply without it having a fan, I'm guessing not good?
