mercury62
I bought 2 lots of CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B, one for my Asus M4a77TD-Pro and the other for my Asus M4a785-EVO, I upgraded the Bios on both prior to installing the memory. but the M4A785 just sat and "clicked" instead of booting. I removed the memory and installed it in pairs and the first pair worked the second did not. Using this I narrowed it down to one stick that caused the problems. I took this bad stick to the M4A77TD and had the same problem. I am convinced I have a bad stick. I tried to do the online RMA thing but on the 3 PC's I tried I got Error on page messages. Is there any way to RMA just this one bad stick? And can I do it without using the Wizard? RamGuy apparently you can just bless this and I can attach the thread from here and RMA. Any guidance greatly appreciated. Thanks
peanutz94
Is there any way to RMA just this one bad stick? And can I do it without using the Wizard? No, you'll need to send the entire kit back. That way you will get a matched set back. You would not want to add just one random stick to an otherwise matched set. That can cause you way more problems than what you have now. Call the CS toll free line. The number is at the bottom of the main website page.
