Sx2
Hello! I'm thinking of upgrading my PC, with a new motherboard, CPU, RAM and CPU-cooler. But my experience with Corsair hasn't been problem free with my current MB. Since I'm planing on having this computer a long time, I would like to install 16 GB of RAM from the beginning. It's much easier to buy 16 GB kit, then upgrading from 8 to 16. So I wonder if any one has the following setup and if there is any known problems with this setup? Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 CPU: Intel Core i5 -2500K Memory: Corsair CML16GX3M4A1600C9B Link: CML16GX3M4A1600C9B Details for CML16GX3M4A1600C9B Memory Type: DDR3-1600 (Vengeance LP-9-9-9-24*1.5v) Dual Channel Size: 16GB (4 x 4GB) Latency: 9-9-9-24 Voltage: 1.5v Format: 240-pin DIMM Heat Spreader Vengeance LP Blue / Stefan. peanutz94
There really isn't any know "problems" with them. However depending on your system they may take 1.5v to get stable vs the 1.35v they are rated for. Other than that , they should run just fine.
