Resilient
Today I have purchased the Corsair Force GT 120GB. I installed a fresh OS on it and after shut in down and re plugging my old drives I'm getting the error "Bootmgr missing". I've tried going to the bios and the ssd won't show up on the priority. The SSD is hooked on the SATA III jmicron controller and I've also tried the SATA II intel controller and it still doesn't boot/show up on bios. Help? Toasted
-Reset the BIOS to defaults. -Then enable AHCI and restart your computer. -Enter the BIOS. -Go to AHCI Configuration in the "Main" tab. -Is the SSD listed there?
Resilient
Yes it is listed there. It only boots when I take the other harddrives out
madnisman
Is there an "old" Windows installation on any of your other HDDs?
coastgm
Check the BIOS boot disk priority and make sure the ssd drive is the first boot disk.
