jwwhite2
I have an Asus SK8V motherboard with 2 CMX512-3200LLPT RAM sticks and an FX-53 processor. I cannot get my BIOS to boot-up. With the RAM in, the system will not POST. When I remove the RAM, the system POSTs and gives me a memory detection error. I tried resetting the CMOS, but it didn't help. What can I do? Wired
That's a socket 940 board, which only takes Registered memory! You should talk to your reseller to see if they can swap it for CMX512RE-3200LLPT memory.
