Griffulas
Im trying to get my CMP6GX3M3A1600C8 Dominatior RAM to fit under the fan on my Noctua ram and it just doesnt fit. The Noctua's FAQ says for this ram to remove the heat sinks on the ram is this something you would recommend? Im thinking about upgrading anyway. My Ram isn't oc'ed but im trying to maximize cooling on my CPU on the verge of getting my 2600k stable at 4.9ghz and its hot!
peanutz94
You can remove just the tops of the heat sinks. Just remove the three allen head screws at the top and the fins will come off. Just dont try to remove the sides , that will void your warranty.

Miyo
I had the same issue - shouldn't be a problem at all. I ended up going with the H100 though because I wanted the AirFlow Pro LED unit. :)
