wittmann
My 120 Force 3 crached for me last night, no bsod no nothing, i was playing and the freeze disk diddnt work or anything, first i rebooted my computer. Disk not found, then i killed the power totally, then it booted up but my disk is clean, no OS on the disk. How the hell can they sell these disks when they dont work ? From what i have seen on these forums there have been an issue for a looooong time now and still they are selling them. The computer is brand new: ASUS GEFORCE GTX 560 TI DCII TOP 1GB PCI-E ASUS P8Z68-V PRO Z68 S-1155 ATX CORSAIR 16GB DDR3 VENGEANCE PC3-12800 1600MHZ... CORSAIR FORCE SERIES 3 2.5" 120GB SSD MLC CORSAIR TX 750W V2 NÄTDEL ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V INTEL CORE I7 2600 3.40GHZ 8MB S-1155 Bios says AHCI 6/GBs so i suppose AHCI and everything is enabled. I have heard that Intel disks are the only ones that are working atm. Does anyone tried out if they have same probs on Linux ? I have a friend with same disk and only runs Linux with no problems at all. My Serial is 1138... I havent checked Firm yet since i can't atm. I will try to update everything later on, but reinstall windows and games aint that fun. Edit: I have alll the latest windows updates, no system tweaks etc, fully out of the box win7 with one game on it! /W
madnisman
Please check drive's firmware with CrystalDiskInfo and post it. To which port is your drive connected, Intel (gray) or Marvell (navy blue)? Btw: you can add your system specs in User CP.
