RMA difficulties

This is both a praise and a rant.


I recently purchased an Obsidian 650D case and there was some minor damage to the front panel when I took it out of the box.


I submitted an RMA friday night and monday morning I had an approved RMA and a replacement on the way. YAY!


And naturally this is where everything went south. naturally the shipping company has to mess it all up.


Has anyone else had issues with UPS trying to charge customs and brokerage fees for a warranty replacement part?


I spoke to Corsair customer service and they state that it should be resolved within 2 business days. I was also informed that this happens off and on when shipping to Canada (where I live) but they have no idea why.


If UPS is causing that many problems for them why are they still the shipping company of choice?
