Compability MSI P55-CD53 and CMX8GX3M2A1333C9

Recommended Posts

I have a compability issue whit MSI P55-CD53 and CMX8GX3M2A1333C9.

The computer hangs when the Win 7 graphics starts. If I change the clockspeed to 1066 then it starts fine.

I have clear the CMOS and theres no difference.

Are there any suggestions of what to do?

How should I configure it in BIOS?

My hardware: i5 750 processor, Gigabyte 460 OC graphic

It's not a compatibility isse, just think you have to re configure your ram. You can use the XMP profile or set them manually. Make sure your DIMM voltage is set to 1.65v and not auto. And verify your timings are 9-9-9-24-2t Also check your QPI/VTT voltage(memory controller) and set it to 1.35v

If your system boots fine at 1066 then the memory is fine. If it is going to fail it will fail at ANY speed and not just one.

Oh, and do you have the latest BIOS for your MB, if not grab it ! And be sure to reset your CMOS before re seating the RAM?
