donnyb
My case, a Coolermaster ATCS 840 has the following fans: 1) one 230mm fan at the bottom front pulling air in towards the drive bays. 2) 2 each 120mm fans located on the other side of the drive bays pulling air from the drive bays toward the motherboard. 3) a 120mm fan blowing air out of the top rear. I plan to mount the H100 radiator at the top of the case in a push/pull with 4 each 120mm fans. As I see it there are 2 configurations, but I am not sure which one would be best. 1) All fans pulling air in and the radiator fans blowing the air out. 2) The top rear fan blowing air out of the case, all others, including radiator fans pulling air into the case. Anybody have experience, or an educated guess, as to which one would give more efficient cooling?
buradd
what im doing now with my h100 and corsair 500r case is 2 fans only on the radiator pushing air from the outside down into the case http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l234/buradd/IMG_20111210_003933.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l234/buradd/IMG_20111207_195550.jpg i had them the other way around with the fans below the radiator pushing air from inside the case out thru the top but the temps are actually better when you are pushing cooler air from outside the case into the radiator fins and down into the case, from my experience
