TomGu
Configuring i7 2600K system with hope of overclocking to 5.0 GHz or higher. Have done three prior o.c. builds so do have limited experience with the process. Am presently looking at Corsair's ram configurator for 16GB of DDR3-1600 at http://www2.corsair.com/configurator/product_results.aspx?id=2094114 and see modules from 1.35v up to 1.65v as well as some DDR3-1866 and DDR3-2000 modules. I plan to use the Noctua NH-D14 cooler so tall heat spreaders, such as on the CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 and CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9, could be an issue. The 16GB Vengeance "low profile" kit #CML16GX3M4A1600C9 seems to be a good solution. Any helpful suggestions appreciated.
peanutz94
With that cooler the LP's are what you want. Any other modules will hit or the cooler will block the first ram slot.
