Sever
Hiya everyone! I recently bought this new mouse and have been trying since to get the extra thumb-buttons to work with both World of Warcraft and Battlefield 3 but have so far come up short. The only buttons that the games register are the '7' and '8' as being mousebuttons 4 and 5. I have been playing around in the software programme that I downloaded but cant seem to bind any viable keys to the extra buttons, such as F1-12 or the numpad keys. How do I make the extra buttons work? Thanks! //Chris
BOB32
I have the same problem. It is only the buttons that I add under basic options i can use in games for example (Forward, Back, Middle). If I bind button (y) on the keyboard to the mouse button 14 it will works in Windows. But not in the game.
BOB32
After I restarted the computer I cod not move the mouse pointer anymore. When I go into managers performance and test the surfus quality i get good quality on the test. but I still can not move the mouse in Windows.I have reinstalled the drivers and restarting the computer but the mouse will still not work. Left and right clicks work anyway.I've tested both USB 2.0 and 3.0 and on my laptop and workstation but nothing.
fvbounty
Look at this thread seems to be problems with software. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=101479
yanhero
Any news on this issue? I'm sure many of us that are considering buying this mouse plan to use it for WoW, and if the side buttons don't work with this game, then it is pointless. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 13, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 13, 2011 Hello, The side buttons on the m90 itself are not live. Windows will only recognize up to 5 keys. You will have to assign the extra button on the mouse with a key from your keyboard. then use them in wow.

I've been using them for years with my logitech mice and it works fine in MMO's like WoW. also don't forget you can turn those into even more keys in MMO's by using Shift, Ctrl, and Alt modifier keys. Arkis
Read the thread please. We have already tried mapping the keys to the mouse buttons. Yup. Nothing works in Swtor either. It's obvious the software needs work (like the stock "back" and "forward" commands can't be taken off) as the buttons aren't working in a lot of games (like MMOs), so we just have to wait for an update. Like someone else said though, if the update isn't out in the next 25 days or so, I'm just going to return the mouse.

I understand what you mean with this, but can you please answer more specific? How and all, becaus i have no clue. If i check the software i can assign set commands to my mouse but not a keyboard key. Please answer this, i bought the mouse today and it's not fun at all to come home like this. Specially not when you buy a mouse that claims to be a MMO mouse and then doenst work fully ..
ptuchscherer
I'm having the same issue, unfortunately. Has anyone actually tested this mouse with World of Warcraft?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 8, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 8, 2012 I'm having the same issue, unfortunately. Has anyone actually tested this mouse with World of Warcraft? Did you download the new firmware and software? There is now a keypress feature that will allow you to map keys to the buttons much more easily. After you do so, enable hardware playback and save to the mouse so you can bypass the macro blocking WoW and most other games do so you can use it without the software. Athier
I do to have a similar situation. i understand that windows can read up to 5 mouse buttons, but my question is the following. when playing WoW, using addons such as vuhdo and heal bot, it allows me to have buttons up to "button 16" how i program the mouse to go up that high. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 4, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 4, 2013 You can't unfortunately. You have to set it as a keybind instead for both the software and then program that as a keybind onto your mouse button.
Rudesindo
I set the keybinds to mouse nuttons, but they dont work in WOW. For example: I signed ] to buttom 12, but buttom 12 dont work in WOW :(
Toasted
Did you assign the profile to an L.E.D., save it to the M90 and enable hardware playback?
