Force 3 120GB SSD Seen on Device Manager but not accessible as local drive

I hooked up my new force 3 SSD. It is visible on the device manager as an ata device/drive, however I have no access to it as a local drive. Have tried multiple sata ports and still the same issue

I guess it's a secondary drive? Then go to Windows Disk Management and initialize it. You will need to quick format the drive afterwards, do not perform full format as this can result in poor performance or a faulty drive.

I got that too when I install my SSD, you need to initialize the drive and quick format for it to be usable.
