parsec Posted December 7, 2011 Share Posted December 7, 2011 For socket 1155, use the long ones with the same amount of threads on each side. The shorter ones are for 2011 only. No more screwdriver slots due to ID10T errors torquing them down to hard (including me). The pump brackets will contact the wide portion of the standoffs when mounted correctly, so any tightening beyond that is not necessary and accomplishes nothing. If you are really a DIY person, you could use a hacksaw and create a slot in the thumbscrews, but you'd need a vise, and skill, and a bit of OCD to do that. :bigeyes: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
