Vengence 1500?

So I am selling my Logitech G35's headset because of Logitech ruined the software (bad sound quality and noise cancellation on mic not working).

I was intent on purchasing the Corsair Vengeance 1500's? But, because of Jinx's review (http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=101329) I am seriously doubting that decision. He says the low end/bass is terrible with these. Is that true? What are some others experiences?

If I shouldn't get the Vengeance 1500's does anyone have a suggestion for a different headset that has 50mm drivers (want less rumble when playing bf3)?

Get's good reviews on amazon:

Maybe it's just a matter of using the dolby setting instead of the 7.1 setting?

Im using vengeance 1500, the basses aren't choppy, they are clear, I dont feel like the basses get distorted. However satisfaction depends from person to person, dunno, I believe it is okay. And the sound quality is not just about the bass, it's great imo.

I completely agree with you. That's what I'm looking for. Good clean quality audio without distortion. I played bf3 with my g35's and every time I was by a tank or near and explosion it sounded terrible. So much bass rumble. I just want quality sound.

Also, the 1500's look soooo comfy - with the cloth ear cups. How has your extended use felt? The g35's crushed my head after longer then 20/30 mins.

I am still leaning towards the 1500's after watching this:

I think I am going to go with the corsair vengeance 1500's.

After reading this I think I'm convinced:

I didn't realize they had such a nice array of presets for equalizer settings. Very very cool for a guy like me that has no idea how to tweak EQ settings at all.
