gonis
I have 2x http://goo.gl/vXwvt and 1x http://goo.gl/MIUsT [i believe both are the same] at stock timings. What are lowest (safe) timings for these ram's? thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 5, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 5, 2011 Not sure what you are asking for here but since you are mixing memory I would suggest running them at DDR1066 at 1.5-1.6 Volts.
gonis
Thanks for the reply. It answered part of my question, but I am still interested in what timings (I believe that's how those things - 9-9-9-24 - are called). The lower the numbers the faster ram work? right? I don't want to push them too low and brake them. I have figured out that I have 2x cmv4gx3m2a1333c9 and 2x vs2gb1333d3 They should work fine @1333mhz. shouldn't they? Is it safe to boost them to 1600mhz?
peanutz94
You cant break memory from using the wrong timings. they will just become unstable. All you can do is experiment with your modules and see how low they will run. Just test with memtest after each change to be sure they are stable.
