My motherboard is Asus P5E64 WS Evolution: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5E64_WS_Evolution/#specifications Using the memory configurator I've found one module of ram which is Corsair Memory Dominator 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 DHX XMP Dual Channel Desktop CMP4GX3M2A1600C9 - 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair Dominator DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600), CAS 9-9-9-24, XMP, DHX, New connector, 1.65V Do you think I will be able to run them at 1600 and if yes how do I do this? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 6, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 6, 2011 No and these may not work at all depending on the version of the modules. The Intel X48 and P45 Chipsets are supposed to work with up to memory modules made with 256M X8 Memory IC's but many of the modules we are producing now are made with 512M X 8 memory IC's which will not work with this MB. In addition, with this chipset you cannot run the memory faster than the CPU FSB.
