BSOD
I received my $20 Visa card from Corsair today and I noticed in the fine print that I will be charged 3.5% on purchases outside of the US. Normally I would use up the entire balance of the card towards payment for my next purchase at a store like Wal-mart. But with this "International Transaction Fee" I will not be able to do that, correct? I will have to factor the 3.5% and only charge $19.30 to the card? And what will happen if I try charge the full $20? I will be declined and charged 75 cents fee for being declined? Last of all this card is issued in US currency. sigh. Corsair how do I get all the money off of this card without knowing the exact exchange rate and without incurring some kind of fee? Thank you! And I am sorry but we do not have anything to do with this in Tech support so all we can suggest is to contact our customer service and see if they can help you with this. Synthohol
any bank with the Visa logo sticker on the door HAS to redeem it for full cash value. they accept to do that when they become a Visa "merchant" i had a 100$ one from verizon and i walked into the bank and the teller and the desk rep said they dont do it, i told them to call their home office to verify what i said and a few minuteas later i signed a receipt and was out the door with a crisp 100 dollar bill. as long as the Visa logo sticker is on the door to the bank they HAVE to take it. do not take no for an answer!!! good luck
