XxAlbertoxX
Guys, I'm putting together a new i7 2600k + gtx570 build in the corsair 650D case. It's a beautiful case , I love it. But I'm putting an OCZ SSD 2.5" inch in there and following the guides, but it doesn't fit. One of the pins that are used for the 3.5" is pushing at it, making it unable for me to align the provides screws to screw it in. I looked online and am beginning to see this rubber washer and pin on the plastic harddrive bay must be removed. They could have stated this in the manual. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT YOU USED TO REMOVE THE RUBBER WHITE WASHER AND PIN? I DIDN'T WANT TO JUST GO POKING OR RIPPING STUFF OUT THE CASE BECAUSE IT'S A BEAUTIFUL CASE! PLEASE HELP, trying to get this build put together and it's already 10PM....
Yellowbeard
Just push the pin with your finger, it will slide out of that rubber grommet with minimal pressure. Or, you can pull the entire grommet and pin out. It goes in and out easily.
Cord
I remember reading about a similar situation when researching the 650D before buying it. *IF* I remember right... the poster had mentioned that the pin should just slide out of the way. I could be wrong though so don't take my word for it.
lombriz
The metal pin comes out using your fingers. I ran into the same situation two days ago. But then I put it back in since Corsair Force GT comes with a 3.5 metal tray that adapts nicely in the 650D.
