squigish
Hello, A few weeks ago I purchased the CMX16GX3M4A1600C9 from the egg. I've been having some stability problems, and I want to verify that the XMP is setting the correct timing and voltage settings. Where can I find the correct values for those settings? If I look for a product that's still being sold, I can find a product info page that has a tech specs tab, but when I go to the page for my memory, I get a blank screen. http://www.corsair.com/producturl.php?sku=CMX16GX3M4A1600C9 Thanks! Wired
1600 MHz @ 9-9-9-24 @ 1.65v. It's not meant for the motherboard in your profile if that's what you're using it on (Gigabyte H55M-USB3).
squigish
It's not? The GA-H55M-USB3 shows up for me when I search on the corsair memory finder. Is there a good reference you can point me to so that I can figure out what those numbers mean? As far as voltage, if I recall correctly (I'm not at home at the moment), the label on the side of the sticks says 1.5v. Is a lower voltage generally more stable, or less stable? Wired
CAS Latency (tCL): 9 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 9 Row Precharge (tRP): 9 Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 24 If it's 1.5v, then they're fine.
Garvin
Yep that's the memory listed for that board. Wired must have missed seeing the board in the list; it's further up in the list. The ram is rated up to 1600Mhz (800Mhz core clock) at 9-9-9-24 at 1.5volts. The link: http://www.corsair.com/learn_n_explore/ See below for what the numbers mean. All the other values for RAM should be set to auto.
