Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 29, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 29, 2011 We do not suggest mixing modules like that, it would be best to purchase set of modules that is the density you want to use. I would suggest installing the modules one at a time and go to BIOS setup and load setup defaults and enable XMP and test them one up with http://www.memtest.org. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 30, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 30, 2011 You are mixing memory and why increasing the memory voltage and the memory controller voltage solved the issue. Modules that are packaged and sold as single modules are only tested as they are sold and why we suggest you purchase them in sets that are tested together to ensure compatibility. We do not suggest mixing modules like that, it would be best to purchase set of modules that is the density you want to use. I would suggest installing the modules one at a time and go to BIOS setup and load setup defaults and enable XMP and test them one up with http://www.memtest.org. __________________
