MrGadget
I purchased my drive from Buy.com about one week ago. Just after receiving it I went out of town on a business trip and didn't take the drive with me. A house guest decided to do me a favor and formatted it from FAT32 to exFAT32. No biggee there, but he neglected to back up the files included. I don't know what they were, but I do know the drive displayed a red icon of some type when I plugged it in and now it doesn't. I know it is a small thing, but I would like to get back the icon (probably displayed from Autorun.inf pointing to an exe file) and whatever else was on the drive originally. Can anyone point me to where I can download them or email them to me? I did search the forum to see if the topic of this thread was already covered, but didn't locate one. If there is one, please point me to it. TIA
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 10, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 10, 2011 There are no files on the drive. and you would need to use a form,at utility to format a drive larger than 32 Gig in Fat32. Like Fat32 Formatter, which is listed under Software Down Load in the F.A.Q. Section.
