killuchen
Well, I've been getting mixed answers of some people telling me I can and some telling me I can't. I currently have 2 Evga 580GTX 3GB Classifieds gpus. 1 coming in the mail today. My PSU is the Corsair HX1000. Will I be able to run these 2 cards safely? Each card requires 2 8 pins and a 6pin to power them. I also put an RMA in because I am missing a 6pin PCI-E cable. I plan on buying a corsair 1200AX in the future but that's a little bit away. peanutz94
The 580's use max of 330watts per card. That's only 660watts. So that leaves plenty of juice left over for the rest of the system. Short answer...Yes it will be just fine!
