Jens.L
Hi I have bought a used Corsair 60gb force gt from a friend at work today. But none of my computers can recognize it in bios. My laptop the computer i bought the ssd for is an Fujitsu Amilo XA3530 with Athlon64 x2 with 4gb ram and 500gb that i will move to the secondary hdd place for storage. My desktop computer is an Acer something with Athlon64 x2 5000+,4gb ram ddr2. I have tried with different bios settings. My friend from work updated the firmware for a while ago and he told me he used the drive yesterday to check if there where any saved files he needed on it before he gave it to me. Any suggestions or shall i wait until monday and test the drive on an newer intel based system instead.? /Jens
Toasted
Wait until Monday and test the drive on a different system. You may also want to try various SATA cables.

Then post your case # and someone should be able to change the part # to a 60GB.
Wired
Your friend will need to RMA it for you as the warranty's not transferrable.
Jens.L
Oh that sucked. I don't think he bought it new either. I have the retail box and receipt. See if I can get hold of the person he bought it from.
