sl4y3r
Hi, I will b installing my h60 tomorrow and have a quick question..I will b mounting the rad on the back exhaust of my lancool k62..does mounting the radiator with the pipes on the top cause a performance hit whatsoever ? The reason I ask is for the sake of neatness. Also for an an AMD setup is the fan as exhaust or intake better. Got 2 140 mms 1 120 Intake and 1 140 exhaust.Thanks. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 23, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 23, 2011 No, it will not affect the cooler's performance. Tubes on top or bottom will not make a difference.

madnisman
Using H60's fan as intake should be better for CPU cooling, as the surrounding air is a little bit cooler compared to the air inside your case. For this setup it would be good to have exhaust fan on top (stack effect). If you don't have this option and your air flow is from front to rear, it could be better to have the H60 fan as exhaust. I would suggest you to try different setups and see what will get the best cooling for you.
