I would like to test my H100 before I install in my 650d, could I just hook up the 4 pin molex to a 350 ps I have been using to check fans, and my fan controller, I can make sure the rad is above the pump, just want to make its working? thanks for any info.

I'm going to test mine tonight.

I currently have it hanging inside the case waiting on my new CPU.

However after reading all this nonsense i'm gonna test pre final install.

I will post my findings tonite.

Well I'm happy to report looks like everything is working, the fans I'm using are Gelid Wing 12PL PWM fans. Very quiet also, here's my lot number 113594483. Thanks Corsair!

Did you hold the Rad and Pump in there intended positions?

Did you try the three speeds?

thx

Yes I did, I tried the 3 speeds but I didn't notice a lot of speed difference with the fans, I'll be using a Kase Master Pro fan controller to regulate fan speed!

I would try the stock fans first, plus I don't if the fans would change speeds becuse the cooler wasn't sitting on a hot cpu to make them change speeds? Hope that makes sence!

please clarify.

and

does the 3 speed switch control the pump speed or the fan speed?

i still haven't been able to hook mine up to test.

looking for a swag PSU today in the dead comps' at work.
