I recently got rid of my old kingmax DDR400 Rams and have decided to go for DDR550 Rams ! The 2 Rams that caught my attention were the OCZ EL Gold Edition DDR550 PC4400 (512MB x 2 ) 1 GB Kit Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Platinum Series, Low Latency (Twin Pack) 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-4400 Could u guys just enlighten me with any compatibility issues !! My system specs are mentioned in my signature ! Im even going for a 74GB Raptor Sata HDD along to do with that ! Could you ppl just help me out with which RAMS seem to be better in performance, the Corsair or the OCZ's and if im gonna have any issues with running them on stock speeds since ive heard the 2.4C is the best processor to use in gettin a 1:1 Ration !! Thanking you in advance !!

Please see our F. A. Q. section, in pitcular Twinx4000 Faq and XMS Qualification and Testing! I think that will answer most of your questions, or give you some ideas of what you would like to know! XMS4400 would be a great choice with this MB, however the MB we have in our lab has not run above 270 MHz, but I think there is a newer revision of this MB that has done much better with over clocking! Just remember there is no guarantee with over clocking only we will guarantee the modules will run at that speed in a approved platform! You combo of hardware would qualify, with the exceptions that I told you before! You might want to look at the MSI user forum as well and see what others with your MB have been able to achieve!
