shecks
If my system crashes with the timmings of 2-2-2-5 does this mean I am stuck with 2-3-2-5 I am able to get? Is there anything else I can try to acheive the 2-2-2-5 settings? Also, will I even notice any difference with the what I am able to run above the stock settings? CandyKid
3200LL stock settings are 2-3-2-6, so 2-2-2-5 probably isn't an option unless you have Rev 1.1 with the Winbond BH-5 chips. Corsair now offers 3200XL modules which will run 2-2-2-5 @ DDR400. As far as performance, not a whole lot, but there is some. Most noticable in programs that use a lot of random reads (I.E. games, etc). PLUR CK
shecks
Ok, I guess I will be happy with the 2-3-2-5 setting over the 2-3-2-6 stock settings. Thanks for the info :):
AusTerro
Crank the voltage, active cool the ram, and reduce one setting at a time until you find the best performance for those ram sticks. Don't go above 2.8v though.
