malagos90
I am looking to add an additional 8GB (2x2GB) of Dominator 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 RAM but my current runs at 1.8v and I can not find another set of this exact RAM can I use the 1.65v and not compromise my system? My motherboard is a Asus M4A79XTD EVO and my CPU is a Phenom II x6 1100T Black Edition. I am looking to run 64bit and this is why I am buying more RAM. Synthohol
mixing/adding ram is not supported, there are hundreds of threads here where people found out the hard expensive way. buy a single complete set of the capacity you desire. see links below.
