emm1
Hello, I was thinking about buying the Obsidian 800D case, but before I do I wanted to know if I will be able to install 4 graphics cards in it?
FlawlessSoul
Entirely depends on which graphics cards and which motherboard.
emm1
Well, I noticed that the 800D is only 7 slots while for example the HAF X is 9 slots. So I wondered if this would work on the 800D regardless og the motherboard or GFX. But for the record I'm planning to get the Gigabyte X79-UD5 or UD7 and GTX580. FlawlessSoul
The X79-UD5 isn't going to be four-way SLI/CF compatible. The UD7 would require you to modify the 800D slightly to fit, since it's longer than the standard ATX (as most 4-GPU capable boards are).
dakotha
Are you going to water cool the gfx cards, since most probably you will run into serious cooling problems with 800D.
emm1
I wasnt planning on it, just going to get the H100. But I see your point. The HAF X is probably a better option due to it's cooling features, but the 800D is so much nicer looking case. :)
Ginut
With quad SLI you will run into major cooling issues with most cases. The HAF X might be a better choice, although I strongly suggest a water cooling loop for the GPU's
