Connecting H100 fans to CPU fan header

Many folks have done that, you will need a pwm fan header on the mobo for pwm control. The H100 fan control is based on coolant temperature, when connected to the mobo cpu fan header that control would cease and the fans would be adjusted thru another parameter , probably cpu temp. I plan to do what you are thinking and have been wondering what the implications are in running the radiator fans based on cpu temp as opposed to coolant temp.

The H60 comes with a PWM controlled fan, and it works fine with it.

In order to use two PWM fans on one CPU fan header, you'll need a special splitter cable for use with four pin PWM fans. They're not very common but can be found. Look for one that has only three wires running to one of the fans, otherwise it will not work correctly. The fans used should be identical or similar in specifications, and not use more than one amp of power in total.
