Pteri
I purchased my 500R yesterday and everything seems to be going well except for my fan controller. When I use the switch on the front panel, going from low to medium to high, doesn't change the speed on my fans! I believe I've hooked up the fans properly so I am not sure what the problem is. Just in case I will go over how I did it. The two front fans were left how they were, connected to 3-pin connections which lead to the front panel. Then, there is one connection coming from the front panel that connects to a molex and another one for the side fan. Am I missing something? Thanks to anyone in advance for help. G50EED
You are not missing anything. There is little, if any, difference in fan speed across the three settings.
Kuni Xela
consider it more as a "noise" controller... I like it to be quiet so I'm glad about the controller low speed option since I don't need software to control my fans anymore :)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 11, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 11, 2011 The front 120mm fans are rated at 1200rpm with a range of +/- 10%, you'd barely notice the difference in rpm with in this range.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 22, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 22, 2011 Switching to the right is to increase the fan's rpm.
