MPSAN
Hello: I just got this RMA approved and have a question. This is a pair of TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF modules and they were fine for 2 1/2 YEARS. Then programs started crashing. I removed 1 at a time and found that the system runs for months on the one I identified as good. I know you want them both back...I did run memtest and one does fail but it can take many hours. However, the system works with the 1 good one in place. So, my question is...can I somehow get you to send me the 2 new pair...with a Credit Card, and then I can send the old ones back for credit? Thank you. OK, I had done the RMA request, and DO have the RMA number. I will call Customer Service. Is there anything later than the Ver 1.1 that I can expect in return? I always wondered if mine was the latest. Thank you.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted November 7, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 7, 2011 No, the version numbers do not work that way, and this part is no longer in production. The only DDR2 memory available at this time is DDR800.
