MacBook Pro Mid 2010 8GB Problems

Recommended Posts

Make: Apple MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010)

Model: MC375LL/A

Chipset:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz

Manufacturers Part Number:

Memory capacity desired: 8GB

I have been trying to get the following Corsair memory to work in the above system:

CMSA8GX3M2A1333C9

The packet specifies compatibility with Apple iMac, MacBook and MacBook Pro. However, I cannot get the MBP to boot with either one or two of these sticks installed. I have tried both of the sticks individually. The actual model of MBP is not specifed on the configurator. Is this memory just not compatible? Seems misleading if it is not given the packaging states it is...

Thanks

If your system is not listed on our memory configurator we may not make memory for your specific system. But I would install just one module then perform the PRAM rest procedure and see if it will post. If not then I would ask the reseller if you can return them and purchase memory that is specifically suggested for your system.
