Befuddled
I recently updated (due to an OS failure) to W7 64 bit. I decided it would also be a good time to purchase some more ram as I currently only have 2 gig. In checking corsair's site it seems that all the 'higher grade' memory is no longer sold anywhere. Could this be so? Sorry, should have read MB, not MG

Befuddled
Not really a memory expert. I used the utility at Corsair's site and the one's it came up with all seemed to be unavailable. I don't overclock so that is not an issue. Looking for 8 gig (2x4) DDR3 1600 that would be compatible with my MB/CPU. Current memory in sig. All the DDR3 1600 dual channel seems to highlight that they work with Intel. Do they work with AMD also. Don't need the high test stuff but I like matched sets. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 2, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 2, 2011 You can use DDR3-1600 Memory with your configuration, but most likely you will have to run them at DDR1333 as that is what your CPU will support.
