Snakes
Hi, I'm trying to return some defective RAM and I don't want to do anything wrong when filling out the RMA submission. My ram is CM2X2048-6400C5C and the closest product in the RMA drop-down list is CM2X2048-6400C5. Should I just select that product or will it cause problems? The only difference is that last C at the end of mine. Thanks!

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 31, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 31, 2011 That module is not sold as a single module only as a set so the part number would be TWIN2X4096-6400C5C.
Snakes
Thanks for that info, I was just going by what it said on the side of the RAM.
Synthohol
and you will have to send in both sticks, not just the faulty one.
Snakes
Thanks. One of them seems to be good so I was going to put a small post-it on the bad one to indicate that. I don't know if they care but I'll do it anyway.
Snakes
My store receipt is not required, correct? I don't see it mentioned anywhere on the RMA instructions and there's a lifetime warranty. Guess not.
