dawcha
I'm new to modular power supplies and have a question about one of the cables. The cable I want to know about is the atx power cable. I have no problem with the end connecting the 24 pin to the motherboard. At the other end of this cable are 2 connectors - one is 10 pin and the other is 18 pin. On the power supply itself (corsair professional gold series AX 650) there are 2 ports - one is 18 pin and the other is 10 pin. I'm assuming that both connectors on the cable must be connected into both ports on the power supply itself. Am I right?? Or are we to use either the 10 or 18 pin?? Don't want to risk frying the motherboard! Would appreciate your help. Thanks
