KrazyTaco
My motherboard's front panel connectors specify which polarity goes where for the front panel, however on the 400R only the HD LED connector and the PWR LED have labeles specifying which side is positive and which is negative. How can I tell the positives side from the negative side on the other connecters, such as the power and reset connections? Also, the PWR LED has two individual pin connections one labeled positive and one negative. The connection on the motherboard has 3 pins however, positive on the left and negative on the far right, do I just skip the pin in between the two? Toasted
The power and reset buttons can be plugged in any way. What motherboard do you have?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 18, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 18, 2011 Toasted is correct, PWR SW and RESET SW does not require polarity.. PWR LED as well. Only connector that you need the polarity correct is the HDD LED, which has label on each connector.
