wlezel
Hello folks, this is my first post :) Anywho, I've just recently purchased this drive (And it is absolutely amazing btw, I've always loved Corsair products) and I have done all the 'tweaks' listed here on the site except for one.. is it really necessary/worth moving my internet temp files to my storage drive? I keep seeing mixed reviews on this. Thanks for your input! -Lee
Toasted
You can move it so the temp files as it may reduce the writes on the nands. Moving the temporary file locations is your choice. I move the folders to the mechanical drive.
FoLmEr
It's not worth it whatsoever; the NAND themselves will outlast you. Furthermore, it'll make your system feel slow when accessing the temp files. Instead I recommend getting a disk cleaning utility like CCleaner to delete them once in a while.
