matabhaine
my ram is running at 1333 and not 1666; is changing the voltage to run the memory at the correct speed easily done or would I be better just leaving it, I did buy it so it would run at 1666 not realising at the time it would require a voltage change. Any help would be greatly received.

Wired
Your Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 has a FSB of 1333 MHz. Your memory speed is limited by the FSB speed. You'd need to overclock your FSB to 1667 MHz to allow the memory to run at its rated speed. NOTE: there's more to overclocking than just increasing the memory voltage (which that memory doesn't need anyway).
