Jgmcbride
Purchased the 120gb about a month ago and only now getting to install it. I have tried three different Motherboards and 2 external HDD enclosures but every one of them has failed to see the drive at all. With the external USB there must have been some activity because Win7 reported that it had successfully installed drivers for the device. I do not see the drive anywhere in my Windows environment nor in the BIOS. All devices support other SATA drives with no problem. I expected that this would be a simple plug and play and did not expect to spend the many hours that I have on this. Extremely disappointed. Any suggestions from anyone? gatormoe1
Sounds like you need to return your SSD if you're able to plug and play all other devices fine.
Toasted
Is the SSD initialized in Windows? To do this go to Disk Management, right click the SSD and press New Simple Volume.
