McLaren__F1
I installed the H100 and notice everytime i start up my computer the fans rev up to max like a vacuum cleaner in the beginning then stop. Is this normal for the H100? My configuration is in push pull. ive already contacted tech support cause of my batch 11359403 and they told me to order the fan kit. My pump is running 2000RPM http://i52.tinypic.com/2q3yxd1.jpg

Toasted
Your H100 is fine. The fans revving up to max on start up is normal. Does it do this during system operation?
parsec
Yes, that is normal and could happen with any CPU cooler. During the PC boot sequence, while the POST (Power On Self Test) is running, which occurs prior to any BIOS controls starting, fans that are otherwise controlled by the mother board get full power and run wide open. Granted, the H100 is self contained, but takes a moment to start it's software and regulate the fans. The simple processor it uses takes a few seconds to get going, so nothing to worry about.
