trickmasterpc
hook your drive up to the integrated SATA controller. Usually Intel. Using Jmicron or Marvell may not work. If you want to try it on one of these controllers make sure the controller is set to AHCI mode.

Sinfamy
I have the same board. Do not touch the jmicron driver! That driver is only for the black sata port on the board which is a dedicated CD/DVD ROM port. Do the following: Secure erase SSD, put SSD on port 1 of the regular Sata, and install windows 7 normally, after that go to AMD.com, click motherboards/chipsets windows 7 64 bit and download both Southbridge driver and AHCI driver (not raid). The jmicron driver has nothing to do with the regular sata ports so dont install for any drive, you can install it in windows if you want.
