Starpilot
Heya guys me made a little mistake with buying my new upgrades for my PC I did buy the Corsair TWINX1024-4000PT 500Mhz memory sticks but my new Motherbord Asus K8V supports only the 3200 memory sticks. I have tested it with Sisoftware Sandra and did come to 3212mb/s and with a lower speed of 400Mhz (2x 200Mhz) Does any know of this will give any furure troubels with some systems or If I simply can jank up the speed got get to 500Mhz and higher? placed the sticks in bank 1 and 3 just auto settings any sugestions are welkom
Wired
If you increase the speed, you'll be overclocking the CPU. Your mem will run fine at 400 Mhz. If you do want to OC the CPU, don't just bump it up to 500 Mhz, as your CPU might not be able to take it.
